It’s my third time to write my blogs as for this third quarter, getting along to write what I have in my mind with the topics that were given to us. I've learned new things since that time, and I am willing to continue on learning more about it. After days or even weeks had passed since the time I posted my first blog, I reached a lot of audiences and I am grateful with that to share about my thoughts about a particular topic our teacher had given us.

            In additional, I rarely think about the greatest miracle is being able to face exactly where you’re at and say: no running, no hiding. There’s gold for me here, and I intend to find it no matter what. Creating your very own blogs exactly like the one’s every an author wrote to inspire others, doing activities about HTML on how they are used, and with that it helps you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experiences in which you really stop to look fear in the face. Lift up your Hearts and Rejoice

Every person has his own priorities, his own wants and needs. Some people may choose material things, while others may prefer tangible ones such as love, peace, prosperity and good health among others. No matter what these people wish for these holiday season, what matters most is that the desires of their hearts are granted as long as nobody is hurt, right?

This Christmas season, it is important for us to bear in our minds the reason why we are celebrating this yuletide season in the first place. In this month of December, it is a must for us to remember that our Lord came in this world in order to save us from our sins; He came to redeem us from the wickedness of this world.

We also have to recollect the fact that our Lord God is humble being born only in a manger. This is the message that is sent to us - we must learn how to humble ourselves, no matter how rich or financially wealthy we are because Christ himself symbolizes humility. Even though He is a son of God, He did not demanded for a special “birthing place” or become “man” in a wealthy family; instead, He was born in a poor family.

Anyway, the essence of celebrating Christmas season is not to have a house full of Christmas lights, having a tall and beautiful Christmas tree full of gifts underneath it and giving expensive gifts. Christmas basically means sharing what you have, not just the material things but also those that can only be felt like a warm, tight hug, a simple thank you, showing our appreciation to our loved ones and forgiveness among others.

Whichever of these are important to you this holiday season, just remember that it’s the thought that counts and that love is the most important thing in the world. When love governs our hearts and minds, everything will follow and we don’t need to wait for Christmas time to share our love to other people.

Awareness, key to end VAWC

    The 18-day campaign to end Violence against Women and Children (VAWC) is observed annually throughout the country from November 25 to December 12 to raise awareness that VAWC is a major concern and a national issue. Many people, specifically women are not aware about the law on the protection of their rights against violence. Thus, because of unawareness, spousal violence remains.

    Based on the National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) preliminary results in 2017, out of 11,558 ever-married Filipino women aged 15 to 49 surveyed, one in 4 or 26% experienced physical, sexual, or emotional violence committed by their husband or partner. With this data, the campaign emphasizes the role of every individual, men or women, in helping to end violence against women and children within various institutions. This can be achieved by letting people understand VAWC from the point of view of the victim survivors.

   The campaign gathers supports from different sectors to help spread and provide information on the rights of women and children. In support to this campaign, government agencies and the local government unit of Zamboanga City provides Information, Education and Communication (IEC) and video materials that are presented to the public, clients and employees. Orientations in various areas of the city were also conducted for the women letting them know their rights. Republic Act No. 9262 is an act defining violence against women and their children, providing for protective measures for victims, prescribing penalties therefore, and for other purposes.

  Violence against women (VAW). The Philippines is no stranger to these 3 words. It is real, it is happening, it is claiming lives. VAW is linked with the unequal power relationship between women and men, resulting from society's misinformed views on gender and sexuality, according to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW). Men are traditionally labeled as leaders and providers, while women are seen as nurturers and supporters. "This perception leads to men gaining more power over women," PCW stressed, adding that "VAW is a form of men’s expression of controlling women to retain power."

Values Month Celebration

            Ang tema ng “Filipino Values Month” ngayong taon ay “Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa.” Nais bigyang pansin ng temang ito ang pagiging responsable sa pakikipagkomunikasyon sa ating pamilya at maging sa ating kapwa-tao. Pamilya, sila yung yaman na hindi kayang tumbasan ng pera.

 pamilya ay talagang isang mahalagang salita sa bawat tao. Sila ay regalo na ibinigay sa atin ng Diyos. Sa pamilya nagsisimula ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba. Sa pamilya rin nagmumula ang pakiramdam na pagiging ligtas, pagkakaroon ng mga taong maaasahan at maaari mong ibahagi ang iyong mga problema. At sa kabilang dako, nangangahulugan din ito na mayroong paggalang at responsibilidad sa bawat isa.

Ang kahalagahan ng pamilya ay tunay na pag-ibig at pagkakaroon ng isang taong laging naroon para sa iyo, maging sa magagandang panahon o kapag nakaranas ng kasamaang palad. Sa loob ng pamilya, mayroong pag-unawa, pag-asa, ginhawa, payo, moralidad, mithiin, at pananampalataya. Ang mga bagay na ito ay mahalaga sapagkat ito ay nakakadulot ng seguridad at kasiyahan ng loob kahit anong mangyayari sa buhay.

Tayong mga Pilipino ay kilalang mga makapamilyang tao. Sa madaming punto ng ating buhay ang pamilya ang ating kasangga. Ang pamilya ay isa sa mga humuhubog sa ating pagkatao kaya nararapat lamang na maging maka Diyos, makatao, makakalikasan at makabansa ang ating mga ka- pamilya sa ganun ay lalaki din tayong taglay ang mga katangiang iyon. Ayon sa ating pagkakaalam, ang pamilya ang pinakamaliit nay unit ng pamayanan. Dito nagsisimula ang lahat ng mga natututunan ng bawat isa sa atin. Environment Awareness Month

World Environment Day is held on Wednesday June 5th 2019, and is on June 5th every year. It isn’t a public holiday, it is an environmental awareness day, run by the United Nations. It is sometimes also unofficially called Eco Day or Environment Day. The aim of the Day is to raise awareness of the environment and specific environmental issues.

Wold Environment Day (WED) was established in 1972 but first held in 1974, which shows that concern about the environment goes back several decades at least. 143 countries take part in World Environment Day, and the day focuses on environmental concerns ranging from pollution to global warming and sustainable food production to protection of wildlife.

Every year there is a new main focus for WED. This year the focus is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, and the press and media are already gearing up for this by reporting on events and efforts to reduce plastic pollution.

Participants of WED include NGOs, governments, communities, individuals, charities, organizations and celebrities, and together they raise awareness of environmental issues. Each year a country or Nation hosts WED, and this year India is the host, last year Canada hosted it, and the theme was ‘Connecting People and Nature’.

World Environment Day has had its own anthem since 2013.

World Environment Day can be celebrated in many ways, activities such as clear up campaigns are popular and will be prominent this year, also concerts, conventions and parades, tree planting, and lectures. Promotional materials for the day tend to be created using natural environmental colours.

Children's Month Celebration

This year's theme is dubbed as “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan” in relation to the “Karapatan ng mga Bata” of the Philippine Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) implementation and accomplishments and was approved by the Council Board on April 2019.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) adopted on 20 November 1989 is the first legally binding universal treaty solely dedicated to the promotion and protection of children’s rights. It sets out the rights that must be realized for every child – the rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. It offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development.

The Philippines as a State Party to the Convention has the obligation and accountability to undertake all appropriate legislative, administrative, and other measures for the realization of children’s rights and that children have access to services, protection from all forms of abuse and violence, opportunities for personal development to reach their fullest potential.

By virtue of Republic Act 10661, the National Children’s Month (NCM) in the Philippines which commemorates the adoption of the UN CRC on 20 November 1989, is annually celebrated every November. It seeks to instill its significance in the Filipino consciousness.

This November 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the UNCRC and the 27th year of the NCM. Since the country’s ratification of the UN CRC in July 1990, there is much to be celebrated. However, despite over-all gains and continuing efforts of the Philippine Government, Filipino children and their family still face challenges which compromise their human rights and benefits of development.

UN Celebration 2019

2019 Theme: "Climate Action for Peace". The theme draws attention to the importance of combatting climate change as a way to protect and promote peace throughout the world. Climate change causes clear threats to international peace and security. It is also a day of ceasefire, personal or political. No doubt, this day focuses on building peaceful and sustainable world. The theme of International Day of Peace 2019 is 'Climate Action for Peace'. The theme focuses on the need of combating climate change as a way to protect and promote peace throughout the world.

United Nations Day marks the anniversary of the UN Charter’s entry into force, and celebrates everything that the UN represents and has achieved since its establishment in 1945. With the ratification of this founding document by the majority of its signatories, including the five permanent members of the Security Council, the United Nations officially came into being.

24 October has been celebrated as United Nations Day since 1948. In 1971, the United Nations General Assembly recommended that the day be observed by Member States as a public holiday.

Each year, the global network of UN Information Centres organizes a variety of events to mark UN Day. Activities range from ceremonies, seminars, panel discussions, symposiums to series of briefings for students, art competitions, rallies, film screenings and book/photo exhibitions, media campaigns- including interviews and newspaper supplements- and social media campaigns.

I Can't Thank You Enough

A special day dedicated to all teachers celebrated every year to honor the teachers’ and to appreciate their special contributions towards education. A time to appreciate the people we charged with educating the next generation of innovators, scientists, and creators. Its’ also a time to take action and make the changes that will transform educators’ lives, taking a close look at the challenges they face and what it will take to address them.

Since 1994, This event has been celebrated annually on October 5th. This celebration draws attention to the contributions of teachers in educating their communities and developing a more inclusive and sustainable society. World Teachers Day 2019 is not only a special day for teachers but also for students. On this day, the teachers and retired teachers are honored for their special contribution. Teachers as the name suggest the kingdom of Knowledge from which the knowledge transfer to their students. In everyone’s life teachers play a very important role to build up their Future. In honor of our Teacher’s, we celebrate the Teacher’s day on 5^th September every year just to show them our respect and love for them. A student can write Teachers Day Essay and convey their feeling to their lovely Teachers. On this Teacher’s day show your responsibilities to them and say hearty thankful wishes for their selfless job of Teaching.

Olympic Education

Sports and other physical activities are indeed beneficial not just for the physical health of the youth, but also for their mental state. Intramural are held in school with the objectives of developing the skills of the students and to develop among the students the value of teamwork, cooperation and sports man ship. Intramural or sports competition is essential to the well-being for the students and teachers.

Every school in the world can experience the Intramurals. Because, Intramurals provide different activities or sports for the students, and even to the teachers that they can enjoy.

There have been countless of studies and researches that support the idea of sports and exercise correlating with psychological factors such as self-esteem, motivation and goal-setting. The school believes that the well-being of the students’ is one of the top priorities especially that they need to become healthy in order top form well. We may then wonder – in what way can the school assist the students to improve their health and at the same time hone their skills while they learn other values as well? Aside from the regular academics, Creative Middle School hosted its very own Intramurals which gave the students an opportunity to hone their skills and talent sin various sports and physical activities.

The students were all divided into teams where they managed to develop cooperation, leadership, camaraderie and sportsmanship as they showcased their abilities in the said sport event. Intramurals provide activities for students that are fun and competitive. Students get to meet new friends and become involved with programs that have limited time commitments.

Explore Science

This year’s theme, “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development,” underpins the event’s showcase on the latest innovations in technologies, products and research that can help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In celebrating Science for this month, we are encouraged to join contests, and activities as well as cooperating such events to widen out our learnings about Science. We students of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) enjoyed the fun exercises that were given by the head and officers of the Science Club, and for that we embraced and appreciate Science as a part of our lives.

This activities are not created not only to enhance the skills of the students and their thinking abilities but also yielding the National Wellness of the school and create an impact of good communication. My idea on this purpose of activities is "cooperation, Unity Valuable Knowledge and creativity should be on the students for them to portray and show to every activity that they will be participating to apply it in the near future. But this are not only qualities to be added on their work but should be their greatest medium in their work. There they should apply them all and so their work will be done in a positive manner.
